One of the other things that I would like to do during my remaining time over the summer is catch up on my project 52. A Wee Bit of Spring

It has been raining a LOT here lately. It feels like it has been doing nothing but raining and being overcast for the last two weeks. The entire yard is dead, but I found this ONE spot where the grass is starting to turn back to green. I can feel spring coming!

Project 52: Ennui

Tonight I saw the perfect opportunity to complete my project 52 photo for this week. Meredith was lounging in the living room floor next to her friend Holly, but she just looked so bored! She would much rather be outside frolicking around but its pitch black outside! Without further ado...

Busy blogger...

I know that I've been a busy blogger today with so many posts, but I had some catching up to do! I just wanted to share one last picture with you today before I start gearing down for the night.

One day I walked out in the garage and I saw my Aunt's cat ready for a bike ride :)

Mere's Snow Day

Just thought that I would share some pictures from Mere's snow day a couple of weeks ago. I thought that I had already posted these pictures, but I guess not! Meredith is a strange, strange dog, she doesn't like to get wet and yet she loves the snow!!!

This is my favorite shot of her. I love the snow on her nose, she is just too cute!

Breakfast of Champions

I wanted to do something really artsy for this post, but I think this picture says it all! See list of topics for project 52 here.

Project 52: Black and White

For the first week of project 52, I am going to cheat. *Gasp* Week 1 and I am already cheating?!

Since I dont want to have to play catch-up on my posts, I am going to post some black and whites that I already have taken and I will actually take NEW pictures for week 2 of project 52. Sound good? Good.

The following three pictures are my most favorite black and white pictures that I think I have ever taken. I took them with a manual Minolta camera that is ancient and developed them in a photography course I took a few years ago.

With this last picture, I love the dramatic difference between the light and the shadows.

What do you think?!

Swim Lessons

One day last week, I was able to let me aunt take the day off swim lessons and brought the boys to their lessons myself. It was a lot of fun to watch the boys in their lessons, learning how to swim. It was also fun to watch them playing in the pool when they weren't in their lessons, showing off and being their cute selves!

Some old photography shots for enjoyment

I think the part that I love the most about this picture is just the perspective on it!

I love the shadows in this picture. The contrast between light and dark is so stark, I just love it.

This last picture is perhaps my most favorite picture that I have ever shot from a camera. It was taken with an extremely old digital camera so I will probably never be able to enlarge this picture to the size that I would like to (big enough to go over a mantle) without it being all grainy.

A picture-happy post of Katy's Wedding!

So this post is VERY picture-happy one with some of the edited versions of the pictures that I took at Katy's wedding. I can't wait to shoot more weddings because this was a blast to document and edit the pictures from her special day.

Enjoy :)
